Hey guys!

I thought I'd do my September and October Favourites together as I didn't do my September one last month, however i didn't purchase many new products during October so it may not be very long but hey ho, I'll just crack on with it..

Eyeshadow Palettes I've been loving; The Violet Voss Holy Grail Palette and The Morphe 12NB Palette.

The Violet Voss Holy Grail Palette has been my go to palette for fall eyeshadow looks, the shadows are super pigmented and the variety of colours is amazing, which means you aren't just stuck to one shade of looks. The only negative I can say about this Palette is that the darker shades fall out and blend away quite easily, but that's nothing a bit of setting spray on your brush can't sort out.

The Morphe 12NB palette I would say is one of the most affordable fall eyeshadow Palette there is, I mean It's £11; the shadows are the most pigmented I've used and it has a gorgeous dark burnt orange shade which I think is the only thing the Holy Grail Palette is missing.

Next is the Urban Decay eyeshadow primer potion 'Eden'. My favourites seem to be very eyeshadow orientated, but I've upped my eyeshadow game these past few months with the help of these products so happy days. But yeah, this primer is the bomb! I can do my makeup at 6pm, go for a night out, get home fall asleep ( forgetting to take my makeup off as per ) wake up and my eye makeup will still look flawless. This is 100% a necessity if you are going to wear eyeshadow.

Moving on to my all time favourite hair product.. 'Label.m, Age-Defying Radiance Oil' I put a little bit on each day after washing my hair and it makes my hair super shiny and feel so healthy, and it also smells divine! You know your doing something right when you get more than 2 or 3 compliments on the condition of your hair.

The Aussie Aussome Volume Shampoo and Conditioner... i mentioned them in one of my first blog posts as being amazing, and i've been out and purchased and tested many other volume shampoos and conditioner sets and nothing comes close to these.

After the break up I decided to keep track of pick me up films that i watched and these were my favourites;
- John Tucker Must Die
- Legally Blonde ( 1 & 2 )
- The Sweetest Thing
- Easy A
- Clueless
- Two Can Play That Game
They got me through the first week without making me feeling totally shitty.. so if you've been dumped I'd recommend watching them and if you haven't been dumped I'd still totally recommend them, even though I'm sure everyone has already watched them anyway.

So thats it for my favourites, my writing is a little rusty so just bare with me ill get back into the swing of it after a while!

Much Love,
Iz xoxo

Hey Guys! So I ran a poll on twitter asking what post you guys wanted to see next.. You chose makeup storage so here it is! I had tried to do a video of it because i thought it would be easier to show you rather than a blog post, however i just sounded super awkward talking into my ipad camera haha. So a blog post it is.

I don't exactly have the biggest makeup collection, but it's growing, month by month, payday by payday. There really isn't much to look at but i love looking at how other people store there makeup and products, so it can give me ideas on how to store mine. I find it really satisfying having all of my makeup organised and in storage where i can see it, instead of in a bag hidden away in a draw. I got all of my clear plastic acrylic organisers from amazon, for more than £10-£15, which I think is amazing. The only thing is the draws aren't that deep so you can't fit a lot in them.

I keep my eyeshadow palettes in what looks like a plastic letter holder, but it does the trick!

This draw is full up of makeup that i don't really use anymore, or that wont fit in the acrylic draws. It looks really messy but its organised mess.Thomas also has his own little basket for his glasses, ties and contact stuff.

I have got my eye on a large acrylic storage unit, with 4 super deeps draws, a sections on top. However its £95 so i may just ask for it for christmas. Its from a company called Red Bow Beauty Box.

So thats about it for my Storage, i'm sure in a years time this blog post would be a lot more interesting but we all have to start somewhere right!
Hope you guys enjoyed seeing it.

Much Love,
Iz xoxo

Does anyone else find that your skin always decides to have a breakout right before a day when you have plans? Where as if you have a few days where you won't really be leaving the house you skin stays super clear? Or is that just me? Either way I think we can all agree breakouts suck. Here's what I do to quickly get rid of a spot or breakout..

1. WATER.. yep high quality h2o! Up until last year I actually didn't even like water, I'm not really sure why but as a child I just refused to drink it. Last year I just started drinking it and I saw a crazy change in my skin, it cleared up so much. I try now to drink at least 3-4 glasses of water a day, and I notice that once I slack and don't drink it for a few days I will have the odd spot showing up here and there. So once these spots show up, drink as much water as you can, this will speed up clearing your spots and breakouts.

2. Clean and Clear 'advantage spot control treatment gel'. This beautiful little tube can calm even the angriest spots. Just pop it on and let it do its thing. Put it on as many times a day as you feel possible and the next day your spot is pretty much non existent.

3. Clean and Clear 'spot control moisturiser'. Put this on once in the morning and once before bed. I find this keeps my oily skin at bay, therefore helping prevent breakouts and helping them clear up way faster.

4. DO NOT POP OR PICK YOUR SPOTS. even if they have a white head which looks like it would be great fun to pop, resist temptation. Spots will take 5 times longer to heal if they are popped, also a spot is a lot easier to hide with makeup than a scab is. Try to avoid touching your spots all together, hands are super dirty and it'll just inflame them more.

I hope this helps you out! Let me know if you have any amazing tips for getting rid of spots?!

Thanks for reading!
Much love, Iz

21 things I've learnt about life by 21

1. Friendships are so important! Relationships can come and go, but friendships are there through everything! When I was 15 I got into a two year relationship and I thought he was the most important thing in my life, wanted to spend all my time with him, and ended up distancing myself from most of my school friends. Well two years down the line id outgrown my boyfriend, so that relationship ended, and so many of my friendships weren't there anymore. 5 years on and I soo regret doing that! Now i have Thomas who I adore, but I also have the most amazing friends!! I now realise it's important to put as much effort into your friendships as relationships! You need your girls!! Hoes before bros and all that...

2. You are responsible for your own happiness! Depending on others for happiness will always end in disappointed, once you are happy in yourself, you'll be unstoppable! Happiness is a choice.. Wake up each day and decide you are in a good mood, I live by that.

3. Time really does heal all... It's a bad day, not a bad life. Honestly things that feel like the end of the world, 6 months or a year down the line they aren't even going to matter.

4. Stop holding people's past against them.. People change, learn and grow up. I'm definitely not the same person I was when I was 18. Also don't feel bad about your own past, there's definitely things I wish I could change about mine but that's the whole point of life, learning from your mistakes.

5. It's totally fine to treat yourself and have a spending spree.. Spend £100 on that dress you want, £40 on that highlighter you clearly need, spend it all, you've earned that money so why shouldn't you! You deserve it!

6. But it also feels great to save save save!  to be able get to the end of a month and save some money, even if it's just £20 here and there. For about a year I saved £100-£200 pounds a month, which I hated at the time but by the end of the year I had £1200 to go towards a holiday or anything I wanted.

7. Honesty really is the best policy. It's takes up to much time and energy lying to people, wether it be friends, family or boyfriends. Why cause yourself more stress than it's worth. Be true to yourself and others!!

8. Spend money on experiences! Don't get me wrong I spend money on materialistic things but experiences are things that you are you'll never going to forget or get replaced!!

9. Don't think you have to fall in love with the right person straight away in life. Fall in love for better or for worse, You will learn a lot either way! It doesn't make you a bad person for falling for someone that doesn't treat you right, your only human, and you don't choose your feelings. Stand up for yourself in relationships and call out on bullshit when you see it. Sometimes the best thing to do is walk away, and that’s incredibly hard, but absolutely necessary.

10. Lazy days are the best! Have duvet days, pig out, watch films, wear face masks you time is important!!

11. BUT waking up early, having breakfast and having a productive day feels just as good! Get up at 8am and crack on with what you to do, you'll be surprised when you've finished everything and its lunch time and you still have half a day left to yourself.

12. Not going to university isn't the end of the world. If you've gone to uni I seriously commend you! But education isn't for everyone, it certainly wasn't for me, you'll learn so much about life by experiencing it in the working world.

13. HAVE FUN!!!! Seriously if your not having fun what's the point.. Life is there to be enjoyed, don't take everything seriously.

14. Stop googling your health symptoms or illness!! We've all done it, we've all thought we were close to death, when in reality it's nothing more than a bad cold.

15. This being said.... Do not ignore your body, if something isn't right or you've  noticed something different GO TO THE DOCTORS!!! Believe me, even if it's just a small thing, having that piece of mind is worth it. Don't leave things and think that they will just get better... It seriously pays to be cautious.

16. Your gut instinct is pretty much always right. seriously. Listen to your gut.

17. Never change yourself for anyone! Your image, your personality, nothing! If people won't accept you for who you are, then they aren't people that you need in your life. Simple.

18. Don't worry if you still have no idea what you want to do in life, I definitely don't, 90% of my friends that have just finished uni still don't have a clue, it's normal, don't panic, all in good time!

19. Your mum was right, about everything, those bad friendships? Those bad boyfriends? and so on and so on... Respecting your parents is a massive thing, as you get older you will 100% need their help and your respect goes a long way.

20. Realise that other peoples opinions of you don't matter, it only reflects badly on them. You do you. It's your life do what you want with it.

21. Your success is never dependent on your job title, income, or postcode. Also no amount of money can solve problems. So enjoy the people and experiences around you!

Hey guys! Sorry I've been super absent for the last 3 weeks, work and life has just majorly got on top of me, but I'm back now and here are my August Favourites!! ( Also how crazy is it that it's now September, years really do go quicker as you get older )

So I'm going to start with something that you all will know about... Garnier Micellar cleansing water. I honestly have bypassed this in boots for however many months it's been on the shelves. I never understood what it was and thought it was just water and really couldn't do that much. Until Thomas got a small bottle free with his purchases and brought it home for me. So it comes to the time for me to take off my makeup... ( lots and lots of eye makeup ), well it just came clean off with one swipe of the cotton pad ( life changer ). and I always struggle with eye makeup removers because i hate really oily ones especially going over my eyes, but the micellar water doesn't irritate my eyes at all, and removes foundation way better than face wipes ever do. So for anyone that hasn't tried it and thinks it looks useless like I did, I'd definitely recommend!

Next we have the foundation brush that tops all others ( including the beauty blender ). The Morphe M439 foundation brush. Now before this I swore by a damp beauty blender but once I purchased this it changed the game. It's the perfect buffer and blender! It leaves a flawless look, and however good or bad you are at applying foundation you cannot go wrong with it. Did I mention that it's only £11.50 as well?! I got mine from Beauty Bay.

Moving onto a new foundation, which again has been around for god knows how long, but I'm just jumping on the bandwagon now. The Nars Sheer Glow. Now I've only wore this a couple of times but I already love it, I'm having to wait until I'm paler as I got matched but my body seemed to be a lot more tanned than my face did, but luckily Autumn is upon us, so goodbye tan and hello Casper the friendly ghost. I'm super oily as I've mentioned before and as long as I set my face with powder this holds off my oil really well! The coverage is also great!

Another thing I've been loving this month has been the Loreal Clay Glow mask. I've been using the brightening and exfoliating one, the reddish one, I've used it once a week and my skin definitely feels and looks a lot better and brighter! I also found that it majorly shrunk my pores. A little messy to apply but what face masks aren't...

Now liquid eyeliner... I've been using soap and glory cat eye for over a year now but a few weeks ago I went back to my old favourite 'Rimmel, Exaggerate eye liner'. I loved the cat eye but I've found this one just seems to last longer and it's it's just a lot blacker...

Thanks for reading! I've got another two posts on the way over the next couple of days so stay tuned!

Much love,
Iz xoxo

Hey Guys! Sorry I've been super quiet again, working crazy hours at the moment! But my Kylie Cosmetics Birthday Bundle has arrived so of course I'm making time to review it! First of all, I never wanted to buy the whole thing, but after trying to get the mini mattes 3 times and them selling out within 30 seconds I decided it was easier to get the birthday bundle and I thought when it arrives i could just sell the other products I didn't want and make my money back, however now it's arrived I'm pretty sure I want to keep it all ( sorry bank account ). In this post I'll be reviewing the products and discussing the hefty import fees I had to pay and if i thought it was worth it...

First things first, the makeup bag, when it first arrived it was a lot smaller than I thought it was going to be but it is still a good sized makeup bag, a good size for travelling I'd say, good quality inside and out, the zipper is really smooth which is good! On the website it was about $40 on the website, in the uk £30, I wouldn't of got this bag if it hadn't come with the bundle as I don't think it's worth £30 but it's a lovely bag which I will definitely use.

Now the 'mini mattes' I was so excited to purchase these because it was a great way for me to try out 6 of the shades without spending a fortune on the bigger lip kits. ( ended up spending a fortune anyway but hey ho ). These also seemed smaller than I thought when they arrived but I can't really complain. The shades ( left to right ) Exposed, Dolce K, Koko K, Candy K, Kristen and Leo.
I already have the Lip Kit Candy K, and I got the proper sized Leo in this birthday bundle soooo when I reach 1000 followers on Twitter I will be including the mini mattes of candy k and leo in a giveaway.. ( twitter name: @uponcloudnine_ ) I haven't opened or swatched candy K or Leo mini mattes either so they are untouched :)
I really love all the shades, except Koko K which I just feel is way to pink for me ( I can include Koko k in the giveaway as well if people don't mind the fact I've swatched it? Let me know in the comments )
I will say that the new formula seems a little bit dryer than when she first brought out her lip kits but as long as you make sure not to put loads of layers on then you should be ok. Below are pictures of the mini mattes and the size difference between the normal lip kit and the minis.

Next I'll talk about the oh so beautiful Creme Eye Shadows, Copper and Rose Gold. They are so creamy and easy to apply. The colours are so beautiful and are so pigmented as well. I can't really pick any faults, the packaging is beaut. Below in photos you will be able to see that I used both shades on my eyes, copper on the outer corner and Rose gold on my inner eyelid. Together or apart these shadows are amazing. I'm also wearing the dark bronze Kyliner on my eyes and the shade Kristen on my lips in the photos.

Moving onto the Kyliner in dark bronze. Again such a pretty colour and super pigmented. It comes with a pot of eyeliner, a brush to apply and a pencil liner. The eyeliner is great, however I found the brush to apply it with wasn't that great and the bristles came apart in the middle, but to be fair I've only really ever used liquid eyeliner pens. I swatched the eye liner pencil on my arm and it was very soft, I'm not sure if this will be a good or bad thing, I'm sure it'll make it easier to smudge out if you wanted to get more of a smokey eye effect.

Then we have the normal sized lip kits, Leo, Lord and the gloss Poppin'. Leo was kylies birthday limited edition shade, which is a dark maroon. I absolutely love this shade, especially with Autumn on the way, I can look a little patchy when applied but it you tap off excess with your finger it looks fine. Lord is a beautiful gold metal lipstick,  as I'm so pale it looks slightly odd when I wear it on its own but you can put this on top of any lipstick for an ombré effect and it'll look great. Poppin is a gold gloss which is great, it isn't majorly sticky which some glosses can be, this as well would look great on top of any lipstick.

Now the only thing that has ruined my love for Kylie Cosmetics is the import fees ( buying from America ), I've had them before but only for £11 - £15 so when I got the card from the post office saying that I had to pay an extra £38 for my package, I had a mini heart attack. I always thought that it was to do with the size of the package but I spoke to the person at the post office and it's based on value... So the more you spend, the more you'll have to pay for it to come over from America. In hindsight I would not have payed £160 ( $195 ) for this birthday bundle to then have to pay another £38 for it. I think the makeup is amazing and I will be keeping it all but I won't be making another massive order from Kylie Cosmetics just because of the tax.

I hope you have enjoyed this post!
Don't forgot to follow me on Twitter if you don't already, to get me to 1000 followers so you can have a chance to win the give away which will include the mini mattes Candy K and the limited edition shade Leo.

Much love,
Iz xoxo

Hey guys Happy Monday! Hope you have all have had a lovely weekend! Today while cleaning my room i thought why not share with you what i was doing and as you can tell by the title of this post, today I will be sharing with you my trick on how to get foundation and makeup marks out of the carpet.. a very handy tip to have if you are as messy with makeup as I am.
So I sit on the floor in front of my mirror to do my makeup..
when my bedroom got recarpeted about 2 years ago, I kept some of the left over carpet and got it hemmed and i keep that in front of my mirror so that if I spill anything it isn't the end of the world, but it's still annoying to have carpet covered in foundation marks, so this is my tip on how to remove them..

Shaving Foam!

Oh yes you read that right! Shaving foam! I can't remember where I first heard this tip but I've been using it for years!
So here is what you do...

This is what the carpet looked like before cleaning.. not the best photo but you can see the foundation marks.

1. Squirt shaving foam onto the areas where the foundation is and leave for 5 minutes.

2. Using baby wipes, rub the shaving foam into the carpet using windscreen wiper motions, if you find there is a lot of excess foam just scoop that up and wash down the sink. If you think there is still foundation left on the carpet just repeat step 1 and 2 again.

3. then just wait for it all to dry.. as you can see in the photo below there are no foundation marks left!

I hope this post has been helpful!
Comment below if you have any questions i will be happy to answer :)

much love,
Iz xoxo
